Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS)
Today, we had a "kick off" assembly to introduce our students to a new project for this school year. "PBIS" features a focus on positive behavior and the development of strategies to acknowledge and encourage "doing the right thing". We are very proud of our students and appreciate the fine job they do on a daily basis. We feel that by using examples of students' positive behavior as models we can motivate all students to strive to help make Morrisonville School a great place to be.
We intend to have fun with this project and invite you to join in. We have developed a behavioral chart which highlights our "Four B's": Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Here and Ready, and Be A Community Contributor. Feel free to discuss the concepts and use the information at home.
