Preparation:
Heating Instructions:
Boiling hot dogs is an easy way to prep hot dogs inside - and they're ready in just minutes. First, fill a medium-sized saucepan halfway with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it's boiling, add in as many dogs as you wish to eat. Let the hot dogs boil for about 5 minutes until plump
Consider warming the buns in the microwave.
1. Open the bun and place it face-down on a paper towel. A plate is OK but is not necessary.
2. Wrap the bun in the paper towel or place a second on top.
3. Microwave on high for 10-15 seconds. Check for a warm, soft texture. ...
4. Don't microwave the bun with the hot dog in it.
Stovetop: Set a pot of water on the stovetop and fill it with about a quarter-inch of water. When your steam basket is set inside the pot, the water level should be below the bottom of the basket. Bring the water to a boil, then set the buns inside the basket and cover the pot for about 30 seconds.
